Chasing Co.

Security & trust

Your ledger. Our restraint.

Your receivables ledger is a list of who owes you money and how reliably they pay. That is your customers, your pricing and your cash position in one table. Handing it to software that will then talk to those customers in your name is a big ask, so here is exactly what Chasing Co. can and cannot do with it.

Where your data goes

  1. 01 Your ledger Xero · MYOB · QuickBooks Read-only
  2. 02 Chasing Co. Scores, writes, reads replies AU or SG
  3. 03 Your customer Email · SMS · WhatsApp In your name
  4. 04 Audit log Every action, append-only Exportable

Controls

Seven limits, written down.

01

Read-only by default

Chasing Co. asks for the narrowest permission each accounting platform offers. It can read your receivables and nothing else, and it cannot change what it reads. Write-back is a separate switch that is off when you start, and even switched on it only ever does two things: record a matched payment, and add a note to a contact.

02

Data residency: AU or SG

You pick Australia or Singapore when you onboard, and your ledger data, threads, scores and forecasts stay there. Backups stay there too. Nothing is replicated into the other region. If you have a residency requirement neither covers, tell us before you sign rather than after.

03

Audit log

Every message sent, every reply read and how it was classified, every payment matched and at what confidence, every time one of your people paused or overrode something. All of it, with timestamps. The log is append-only, which means we cannot edit it either, and you can export the whole thing whenever you want.

04

No training on customer data, ever

Your invoices, your customers and the text of your conversations are used to run your account and for nothing else. We do not train on them. Our model providers are contractually barred from training on them. Improvements to Chasing Co. come from aggregate patterns, not from your customers' words.

05

Full export on exit

Threads, scores, matches, forecasts and the audit log, as CSV and JSON, on any plan, at any time, without asking. When you cancel we generate the whole export unprompted and confirm in writing that we have revoked our own tokens to your ledger. There is no version of your data that stays behind.

06

Encryption and access

Encrypted in transit on TLS 1.2 or better, and encrypted at rest. Production access is limited to named engineers behind multi-factor auth, and every session is logged. We are a small company, so that list of names is short, and we will tell you how many are on it if you ask.

07

Human in the loop

Disputes, replies Chasing Co. is unsure about, low-confidence payment matches and anyone asking to change terms all go to a named person on your side. Chasing Co. does not negotiate, offer discounts, agree to payment plans or make threats. When it reaches the edge of what it should decide, it stops and hands over.

Fit

Who this is for, and who it isn't.

We would rather turn you away in week one than be the wrong tool for a year.

Best for

  • Businesses issuing roughly 100 to 5,000 invoices a month
  • B2B trades and construction, professional services, wholesale and distribution, logistics, hospitality suppliers, managed services and SaaS
  • Finance teams of one to ten, or owners who still do the chasing themselves at night
  • Companies on Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or NetSuite in Australia or Singapore

Not for

  • Consumer debt collection of any kind. Chasing Co. is not a debt collector and holds no collection licences
  • Purchased or assigned receivables, or lending against receivables
  • Businesses whose customers are individuals rather than organisations
  • Ledgers held in systems without an API
